The Exposure Tune Up Recap

The exposure tune up took place this past weekend in Fort Worth and featured some exciting and close games. More than a few players caught the attention of our DFW Source of Sports scouts and we just had share our thoughts.

These boys were definitely ready to play ball.

First, we sincerely want to thank AD ELITE 2024 Boys for coming to the metroplex from San Antonio to showcase their talents. This is a first class organization from the coaches, to their fans. But this is what you can expect when your leader carries themselves in a first class manner. Club director, Eric Talley, does just that along side with his staff. They do a tremendous job of getting their team ready to play from the start of the game. This is a group of boys that is shaping into a competitive team, if they continue to stay coach-able, play hard and work hard, AD Elite 2024 will be the team to follow.

Not any ordinary Cat fight

Texas Wildcats 2024 took home the gold in the NIT division vs On Me Basketball. A game that consisted of two overtime’s to crown a champion. With a 39-37 victory, this young Wildcats team who was playing up, maintained their composure, despite being down by 2 possessions with seconds left on the clock. They truly made it a big boy cat fight and had some help from these players below...

Brady Neuman

Point Guard

Venus High School 2025

Texas Wildcats 2024

A guard with a good IQ, very patient on offense, can shoot the three’s and handle the ball.

Kolby Brent

Small Forward

Bishop Dunne High School 2025

Texas Wildcats 2024

Aggressive player, that will attack the rim to create contact and draw a foul. A leader on the floor who talks on offense and defensive.

Jeremiah Riden

Shooting Guard

Mansfield Legacy High School 2025

Texas Wildcats 2024

Quick and active, moves without the ball and can also create his shot off the dribble.

Shank The General

Aiden Shank

Point Guard

Gordon Middle School 2026

Glen Rose Select

DFW Source of Sports was impressed with Shank. The way he sees the floor, shoots the ball and makes passes... He’s reminds you of a John Stockton, off top.

Sanchez Motor

Adrian Sanchez

Small Forward

Glen Rose High School 2025

Glen Rose Select

Sanchez plays HARD and has a high motor. He has great size for his age that allows him to be active on the boards, score at will and can block.

The Book of Eli

Elijah Thompson

Point Guard

Waxahachie High School 2025

Team Nation

Thompson has a bright future, he’s a quick guard that has a good transition game, he gets teammates involved early and often. One of his specialties is that he can beat his defender off the dribble if they are playing too close on him. Our favorite thing about him is that he GUARDS THE BALL WELL. He helps his team to secure 1st place over the the weekend

Sonz out

It’s ironic we are in the summer were the Phoenix Suns are in the finals giving their opponents a run for their money (despite trailing or whatever the case may be). Well these Rising Sonz are no different. They ball with just 6 players and beat Texas Rise in a nail biter 29-27 game in which they claimed first place.

Rise to the challenge

Texas Rise 2029 team is a special group with a promising future. This team has players that all can do special things. They are a team that will run the floor and attack off of transition. This teams just plays hard and have the urge to win at all cost

Big Tuck All Day

Cade Tucker

Has a man/child body and frame. Great passer, has nice handles and will use his frame to lead him to the rim and score. Active on the boards and plays hard .

He’s a smooth operator

Ethan Chandler

Chandler is a smooth guard that has the goods. Has nice combo moves that creates him a lane to get a bucket at any given moment. Makes no look passes, creates shots for his teammates and now starting to play a more aggressive defense. Chandler is going to be scary good over the years to come.

Thank you all for your support, we hope to see your teams in the near future.
